With ignition timing preset to approximately 20° BTDC, this flywheel is BALCO-certified and spin-tested up to 8,500 RPM, making it ideal for high-revving applications in kart racing and performance mini bikes.
Weighing just 3.18 lbs, it offers a significant weight reduction compared to the 5.64 lb stock cast iron flywheel, and even outperforms most standard billet flywheels, which average 3.35+ lbs. This reduction in rotating mass improves throttle response and engine acceleration.
Approved for competition in the AKRA 196/212 Economy Class, this flywheel is a race-ready option straight out of the box.
